This holy man sat outside one of the temples in Kathmandu, Nepal, to bless those who shared their wealth with him. I watched him speak to the sky, mark foreheads with red dust, and dance around in worship as whose desiring peace and favor from the gods poured Nepalese rupees into his bag . Occasionally he would reach down to pick up the wooden spool and string beside him to fly his imaginary kite high in the heavens.
